That doesn't sound like Super Good Advice to me-

Hey Destiny people (and hopefully someone behind the scenes at Bungie) - Longtime fan of Destiny and Bungie here, to question something that I haven't seen anybody else asking about yet. I'm an audiofile, and I always loved how much attention was payed in Destiny to the unique sounds of exotic weapons. In year 1, Super Good Advice had a very distinctive sound, as all exotics do. I've recently acquired the year 2 version - and was immediately surprised when I fired it - to hear something different. I believe it's the generic machine gun firing sound, but I could be wrong on that. Whatever it is, I'm absolutely sure it's at least not what Super Good Advice sounded like in year 1. I'm loving everything year 2 so far, and am often annoyed by year one enthusiast gripes about year 2 content; but please tell me this is a mistake! I miss how my communist exotic machine gun used to sound. :c It should at least sound different than a regular legendary one, right?

  • I've experienced the exact same thing! As i'm an audiophile as well, that instantly took my attention as well. Yes I also think it is the generic Machine Gun sound you hear at first, but if I recollect correctly, I have in fact heard year two versions with the correct sound. So perhaps it's a bug/glitch that applies as long as you do not have the gun fully upgraded, to where it has it's unique exotic perk. I'm halfway through upgrading it, so i'll let you know when it's fully upgraded. You do the same, and we must have our answer by tonight!
