Rebalancing Salvage

This game mode needs some rebalancing. As someone who has played Destiny since Day One, I've never enjoyed this game type because the scoring system feels broken. If you setup to capture a relic point, you have to wait 40 seconds to receive a fair amount of points OTHERWISE the other team receives a huge point gain from denying your capture. I just played a game where neither team wanted to capture the points because we both knew how the system worked. However, one of my teammates begged to differ. We managed to capture a relic and received a sizable lead. But, we failed to defend the second capture and the other team shot in the lead. The point gain from denying a relic is extremely high. The other team refused to capture a relic the entire game and it lead to my team losing. TL;DR: Salvage promotes teams to wait until the other captures a point then jumping to attack. You will lose majority of the time if you attempt to capture points. Why doesn't holding the relic give you points? That would be a sound change to fix this horrible game mode.
