Here are several Destiny mechanics issues that have not been addressed since their release. Some have been here since the Beta. Shout out to Bungie for taking so long to figure out weapon balancing that you neglect the key mechanics to the game. Well done. If any of these are not bugs, they are not clearly stated to be intentional, therefore some in-game tooltip explaining their use would be nice. [b]All of these are noticeable in PvP and PvE[/b] 1. Hunter Bladedancer melee perk Backstab can 1-hit melee from the front of an enemy. 2. Titan Striker perk Shoulder Charge is inconsistent. Audio of impact will play but no damage will be dealt. If activated in the air, for example, with Peregrine Greaves, it has a chance to track toward the enemy but stop right in front, dealing no damage. The solution to that is to not jump, but that defeats the purpose of the exotic boots. 3. Titan Sunbreaker melee perk Melting Point seems to have the same affect as Warlock Sunsinger melee perk Solar Wind. Personal experience with this issue: Sunbreaker Titans can consistently launch me out of my Defender bubble causing me to commit suicide against a wall. This happens with Shoulder Charge as well but that makes more sense. I am not sure if it is because of Melting Point, but every time it has happened I was burning to death. 4. Connection indicators are inconsistent. An earlier patch was intended to address the accuracy of the connection indicators, but it seems to have worsened the issue. A noticeably laggy game will still display all users as having good connection. My suggestion: Use an actual number for their Ping. It is much easier to understand. ________________________________________ These issues are noticeable without latency/lag. Notice there is no complaining about getting shot through walls and other latency related issues. I will be making another post soon that provides suggestions to enhance gameplay.
