Patrolling the Dreadnought not possible
Played through the story and all but can't patrol the dreadnought. Did I miss a mission or something? If so how do I get it. I already checked all npcs and nobody wants to give me a mission that seems to open up the patrol.

Try going to the little kiosk at the Vanguard place in the tower and look for abandoned quest's, It might be there. Same thing happened to me

And again I now did Regicide alone and still nothing. Cayde doesn't give me anything either still. And on the map for the dreadnaught 2 strikes are greyed out and one area. -.-

Completing "dread patrol" mission with cayde grants you patrol

There's one last mission. Go talk to Cayde. It's called, patrolling the dreadnaught. He'lol have you plant beacons and do some patrol missions. Unlocks after that.

After completing "Regicide", I believe you get a quest to plant Patrol beacons on the Dreadnaught, AND a mission called "Dread Patrol" should appear. This mission will require you to climb up to a steep ledge on the hull of the Dreadnaught to scan the battlefield. I found that ledge VERY difficult to reach, but once activated you should open up Patrol missions on the ship. BTW - there's also a "calcified fragment" on that ledge. Be sure to pick it up.
