Is there any way to separate the pvp and pve weapon nerfs? Us pve players are getting the shaft. Every. Single. Update.
I get it. Shotguns are deadly. Sniper rifles shoot far. Pulse rifles kill people.... in the crucible.
We (the pve community) are starting to feel the nerf just as hard as the pvp guys. Lol. This is getting out of hand.

Maybe Hawkmoon was too good in PvP, but I want to use it in PvE!!!
-
Agreed. Let the PVP players nerf each other to death and leave us PVE players alone!

LOL... Ya got me, Guardian. Somehow I thought this was going to be about racing on Mars. Also, as a PVE player, I agree they should be separate.
-
My Nirwins mercy seems to be performing like butter still! I can't stand the PvP weapon nerf when it comes to PVE

Edited by FerniG66: 12/11/2015 4:47:36 PMWhat would happen if the community had complete control over the buff and nerfs Perhaps a true perfectly balanced game? Because when we say nerf something we don't mean destroy it and send it to oblivion where it will be completely forgotten. What we mean is that it needs a bit of tweaking But what bungie does is the first thing and focks everything up

Edited by The 7th fall: 12/11/2015 7:29:27 PMSeems like Bungie updates is chemo therapy to cancer. chemo does screw with the cancer normally, but it also screws with the rest of your body and particularly your immune system. The chemo was Bungie upate, the cancer was pulse rifles, the immune system was the core game, and everything else got brought down with it in turn. And every time Durpstiny gets chemo therapy one thing improves but the rest gets screwed up...

Edited by k1sho-M5: 12/10/2015 10:10:56 PMYou're right. Never played a game where they nerf/buff , balance/rebalance this much. And every time they try to fix something, they mess something else up with it. It should be split up. Then again, they will never get it right, lol.

Everyone has been asking for this for over a year. Your answer at this point is...
-
Literally the only intelligent post in months!!! I'll never understand why whiny bitches get their way every time. It's the Kardashian effect and it's ruining this game for me personally.
-
I get that Bungie wants to balance certain encounters to have a level of difficulty... But at a certain points I feel like less of a powerful space wizard and more like a dreg with a pea shooter. I don't want Destiny to be too easy of a game, but I want my character to feel powerful and skillful against the minions of the darkness. That feeling seems to diminish more and more as my guardians go to weapons are either rendered useless or nerfed to oblivion.

Edited by Razzupaltuff: 12/11/2015 12:08:19 PMI had been repeatedly proposing to completely separate PvE and PvP weapon data. Look at the Murmur: It already has two sets of data (range, impact, element, ...). It's already in the engine! The 2.0 update would have been the perfect opportunity to get this into the game. But no. Actually listening to the fans would mean Bungie had to admit they knew better. Depending on one's ego, that's really hard to swallow.

Here to check the Weekly Update and see it's more of the usual pie in the sky promises clouded in a lot of vagueness. Yes, the nerf cycle is neverending so my suggestion to you is move onto something else that respects PvE and is true to a vision. Bungie wants to be all things to everyone and it just isn't working. I've been Destiny free for 3 weeks now, spending my time on the 2015 GoTY, "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt". It's not hard to drop this game especially when you find one that is true to it's roots and core principle.

Edited by II Stargazer x: 12/10/2015 2:29:59 PMyou forgot that they gave another event to PvP, the score now stands PvP 3, PvE 1, this is events and yes public events ARE counted for PvE but as a single unit because after TDB the hive Blades never returned to patrols, so TDB, HOW and TTK special limited time events do not count, while PvP has SRL, ToO and IB

A division is sorely needed. I get that the sun breakers were deadly in pvp but now that cauterize is broken it's really difficult to take on hordes of enemies in pve. It's too easy to die now. Pvp should not be what drives the changes made to a game that is centered around pve content.
-
I support your idea :)
-
bump seperate them like warframe or guild wars! pve for pve. pvp for pvp.
-
Didn't they buff pulse rifle damage against AI combatants by 6% or something like that? And aren't shotguns getting a 10% damage boost against AI combatants?
-
So the question stands.... is it possible?
-
I couldnt possibly agree more. +1
-
Pulse rifles got buffed by 4% in PvE in the update
-
Learn to use scout rifles and snipers. You won't get shafted in PVE then. (Other then OP shit.)

Well said!
