No, high end pvp should boil down to more than something as generic as a clash match. Objectives like control add more to the experience and make the match as a whole a more strategic experience.
Not everyone will agree with that, but when the "level advantages" are already practically non-existent (270 people killing 300+ people easily).
There has to be more than just clash

Playing with randoms usually prevents any strategy in control. But if you played clan v clan you'd could see some interesting strategies deployed.

On paper yes But in practicality its horrible Anyone can join into the iron banner, even the worst players can join (not a sign of pro-ness) And most people in iron banner don't play the objective And clash is a superior game mode, victory is not based on who controls more zones, rising above on level ground is a feat of skill Not camping by someone zone B and C sniping

I'd rather have objectives. It's a good way to tell who actually contributes or not. The people who don't cap the zones in control are the same people who get .3 kd in clash. It's just my opinion. I understand where you're coming from, but I think it's just a matter of preferences and personal experiences.
