Cabal/Vex Strike Idea

Yet another idea. I believe something a lot of people have been wanting. Enjoy. The Primus Mind: Cabal/ Vex Strike Location: Citadel of the Minds, The Lost Oasis, Mercury Description: "The Cabal have always been a major threat to the City, but now, they are our priority targets. Just recently, a Cabal recon team was tracked to Mercury. Their communications were normal, then turned panicked. The last transmission was interlaced with Vex feedback. We're not sure what happened, but we must know if the Cabal have gotten their hands on tech that's not theirs, or worse..."- Commander Zavala Part 1: Incursion
Players spawn in a new area on Mercury, just outside a giant tower. Behind them, the sun blazes brightly in the sky. Zavala: "The last transmission came from near the top of that citadel. Get in there, find out what happened, and kill off any survivors if you have to." Players see dead Sunbreaker mercenaries littering the entrance steps. Ghosts: "Zavala, it appears the Sunbreakers in league with Osiris tried to stop the Cabal from getting in. So much for that idea." Zavala: "If that is the case, there could still be more inside. If we can rescue them, perhaps they can tell us what happened." Players enter the tower, which is named Citadel of the Minds. Inside, more dead Sunbreakers litter the floor. Ghost: "It was a slaughterhouse in here. And yet, not a single Cabal casualty? Strange." Suddenly, Hezen Protective Vex appear. Ghost: "It's the Vex!" Players fight through them, then reach a makeshift elevator made by the Cabal. Once it reaches the next level, it stops. Ghost: "Great. The power's been cut." Zavala: "There should be an opening in the roof. Climb out of there, and get to the generator." Players shoot open a vent in the roof, and jump out of the elevator. They then see an entrance to the 2nd floor not too far above. They jump up there, and run into a skirmish between the Vex and Blind Legion Cabal. Ghost: "The generator's at the back of the room! Get me to it!" Players fight through the enemies, and find the generator, smoke pouring from it. One player lets their Ghost reactivate it. Ghost: "This thing got pretty torn up, I'll need some time." Now players will fend off waves of Vex and Cabal for a little while. Soon, it finishes. Ghost: "It's a little flimsy from its damages, but I think I got it." A few seconds later, the elevator arrives. Players enter it and continue up.
Part 2: Ascension
After a while, the elevator stops, and the door opens. Inside is a makeshift Cabal research lab. But the tools are broken and scattered, and dead Cabal are seen in some places. Ghost: "The Cabal were trying to research the Vex, but were immediately attacked. Seems typical." More Vex then appear, and attack. Players fight through them as they advance through the lab. Players eventually reach the exit door, but it is closed and blocked by a Vex Axis Cyclops. Players defeat it, and the door opens. Players enter a small room with a Vex elevator-like contraption inside (like the one in the Citadel on Venus.) Zavala: "The last reported transmission was emitted from the opposite end of that contraption. Good luck Guardian." Players enter the contraption, and ascend the Citadel.
Part 3: Experimentative Minds
Players reach an isolated room shaped like a square. The room is made of stone except for the center of the room, which has a circular glass panel covering a hole. Also, there are makeshift Cabal research labs surrounding the room. Dead Cabal are all over the place. 3 Hezen Corrective Hydras named Experimentative Mind(s) are circling the glass panel slowly in sync with each other. Ghost: *whisper* "Those Hydras are overseeing-- no, constructing something that's just below us. Something big." Zavala: "Put an end to it. Whatever it is can't be good for us." Players gain the attention of the Minds, who turn to, and attack them. They are named "Cradron," "Goldron," and "Wedron." Alongside them, more Protective Vex appear. Soon, they are dealt with.
Part 4/boss fight: Kra'agdug, Primus Mind
The glass floor panel dematerializes, and what looks like a Cabal Centurion covered in Vex armor rises out of it. He is named Kra'agdug, and is as tall as Rockets McDickface. Ghost: "The Vex turned a Centurion into a cyborg!" Zavala: "Do not retreat! Kill that thing now!" Suddenly, a pillar materializes next to Kra'agdug. It will flash orange, then purple, then blue, and finally white. Now the pillar will flash one randomly selected color again. Kra'agdug will kneel down in front of the pillar, and reach out his hands. If it was orange, Kra'agdug will be given a Vex flamethrower-like weapon. He would somewhat behave like Rockets McDickface with this equipped. Also Solar damage will be his weakness. If it was purple, Kra'agdug will receive a Void hammer that sends out a forward burst of energy, and Void hurts him more. If it was blue, Kra'agdug will equip 2 Arc conductors on his hands that can shoot Arc bolts, and deal splash damage whenever he smashes the ground. Arc is his weakness. And if it was white, Kra'agdug will get a mace that he can swing around, and drag other players towards himself with. Kinetic damage will hurt him more. After Kra'agdug receives his weapon for the battle, the pillar he used will turn into a portal that spawns more Vex. Eventually, players will defeat Kra'agdug, causing him to explode. Zavala: "Good work, Guardian. Thanks to you, the Vex don't have a cyborg prototype on their hands, Cabal are without Vex technology, and the City stands another day. We are proud." Strike over.
STRIKE LOOT
PROTOTYPE XJ-0461: Legendary Rocket Launcher (Solar/Void.) "A Cabal firearm with Vex elemental programming... Should definitely pack a punch."- Banshee 44 Predetermined Perk: Elemental Switch This weapon can switch between Solar and Void damage. Perk: "Forge of Gods" This weapon's shells split into multiple shells that deal damage over time. Helm of the Mind: Legendary Titan Helmet This armor wasn't attached to Kra'agdug willingly. Cabal blood rusted on the inside of the helmet proves that. Perk: "Void Stare" Void damage from any equipped weapon or ability is increased while wearing this.
GRIMOIRE 1: Experimentative Minds
Mercury is not considered the home of the Vex, but rather a research facility, where Vex can delve into things they can't do elsewhere. The Experimentative Minds take on the role of constructing Vex prototypes, and overseeing their performances. Kind of like scientists, if you think about it. They then decide if it's ok to actually manufacture their creation in droves. In this case, if we hadn't interfered, and they let Cabal cyborgs into their units, we probably wouldn't have to worry about the Cabal again, but the Vex would've been much stronger.
2: Kra'agdug, Primus Mind
Before being gruesomely transformed into a cyborg, Kra'agdug was the newly elected Primus of the Blind Legion after we killed Sha'aull. He was dispatched by the Emperor himself to send a squad of the Blind Legion to Mercury, set up some laboratories, and help the Cabal to better understand Vex technology. That way, they could've fought fire with fire on Mars, and defeated the Vex. But as witnessed, it was Kra'agdug who became the lab rat. But now we know what happens when the Vex can control the Cabal.
Thanks for the read! Feedback is appreciated!
