Title says all. Yes we're getting your invites in tower, no need to send more than one! We TRY to help, and if we are looking to spread our knowledge we'd post on LFG.
Stop hitting up the players who have completed the raid in tower with multiple messages because your "asking" for help is starting to look a lot like begging. Just one is enough. Also, if your friends are raiders and they haven't raided with you yet, the same applies. Stop asking for help for every single little thing because asking for "help" and asking to play with your friend are two completely different things. What to do then? It's simple! Send a message mentioning you're looking to run the raid and if you ever have a spot you're interested. A little politeness goes a long way! You wouldn't knock on someone's door every hour would you? Or call their phone every hour? Just be polite guardians!
TL;DR: Politeness goes a long way. Send a single message, not 100. Mention you're looking to run the raid. Don't beg to be ran through! Please let me farm my strikes and quests in peace otherwise and stop the random multiple invites in the tower! Others feel the same!
Edit: Just to clarify, I HAVE helped people through the raid and don't see a problem doing that. I've gone on LFG, found a group, and helped them out. The problem is being harassed in tower when I have no interest in raiding. Bungie needs LFG in game or some other system.
Edit 2: You guys can look at my stats all you want on Destiny Tracker. Doesn't include my raid gear funnelling Titan who had most of my completions (used him since week 1 and until mid HoW) so it's "low" compared to some troll standards in this convo. Regardless, these stats don't matter. When someone see's 300+ light, they don't care about the previous raids and other stats.
Edit 3: Overall, this could all be solved with some sort of in-game or bungie hosted LFG. Please Bungie, buy out destinylfg as a sign of good faith and implement it into Bungie.net and the companion app!
Edit 4: People getting touchy with the word "experienced". Fair enough, changed the wording and still is the same point. Wrote the initial post in rage.
Edit 5: Clearly people are on opposite ends of this. The people who are having this happen to them understand while the others don't believe it and clearly haven't had it happen to them at this extent. Try doing strikes while having someone spam A on their controller to invite you to raid. Even when you block them, the invites continually go until the queue finishes after 3-4 minutes. All we're asking is for others to be polite and clearly half the people commenting are lacking this. This is one of the reasons why this community is filled with bitching and it's sad. Such a simple solution is too hard.
