I don't like the stereotype of Hunters and how they are meant to be all about themselves. I'm more of a team support guy. I know the NightStalker is team support but... it just won't feel right using a Hunter :\
PLEASE HELP!

Then don't play as one. If you need to be convinced, it's not for you.

bladedancer crowd control gunslinger dps out the ass nightstalker the unsung hero

I've been s hunter since beta, and have been waiting for a true ninja stealth class like this
-
Nightstalker is an extremely versatile subclass, with a big bag of tricks for deception, territory control, and wreckage. Dude, try it out.

I finally like using the Hunter. Didn't care for the other two subclasses but really like this one. Just hope Bungie doesn't ruin the subclasses to "balance" things and make them more alike. I want more diversity and uniqueness not similar. My biggest fear is they will nerf the hell out of orb generation very soon to make it suck like it does for the other subclasses. The one thing you can count on from Bungie is whatever the majority of players like and use will be nerfed into oblivion to prop up the crappy stuff no one likes.

Right because self res is a support class...

Don't listen to that bullshit. Play what you wanna play. I main a warlock, but played a hunter my entire first day of TTK for Nightstalker because it looked so damn cool. I am so excited to run the raid on my hunter this week. I'll be grinding the shit out of her all week until she is 290. All I need is the armor, then I'll be good money. As I've already got a shitload of 290+ weapons from grinding my warlock all week.

Sucks in PvP, the last night i make a direct hit with the super on a stormcaller using his super, it only take down his shield and obviusly i was dead.
-
You haven't done the Nightstalker quest have you?
-
Horrific single target damage but when you tether a bunch of people you do so much damage and melt people
-
Really only the blade dancer is a solitary subclass... Gunslinger is more productive and supportive, but nightstalker is possibly the best support class in the game. Especially if you have a defender on the team as well. It was the first subclass that I started working on in ttk. A little aggravating at first, until you get more abilities (mainly the jump), but if you have high intellect, it's orbs for days. Have your team time their supers to the shadow shot, and you all may get another super right after.

Honestly I don't give a -blam!- if there's a "stereo type" or not
#orb city
