Bungie I love this game a lot. I don't have many things to complain about. But I honestly dread the whole act of forming a group. Friends never want to do the same things at once and/or they have already completed it. So I go to the tower where I have very limited interactions with other guardians. I would rather be able to talk to other guardians in the "social" spaces. If people are annoying they can be muted and reported for being disruptive.
Before posting this topic I was going to start the Nightfall Strike. I looked on LFG and realized I would probably have a very annoying experience with it again. I don't want matchmaking, I want social spaces where I can effectively and openly communicate with others.

The "social" aspect of this game is an absolute joke. I would prefer effective communication in "social" spaces to optional matchmaking. We wouldn't need endgame matchmaking if you would, oh idk, make it possible to meet people in the game? Ridiculous. You shouldn't even be allowed to call these "social spaces". They are simply shared spaces.

Me too. It's a hassle. There are days that LFG completely demotivates me from playing the game.

Maybe have something similar to DC Universe. Have a caption box in the corner of the screen where players can type messages for all to see. Or have a caption box above a players head with a short message in it, i.e. "Need help with raid/nightfall/PoE".

If your problem is finding a group fast, use Destinylfg.com.

There are social spaces in the main cities of Elder Scrolls Online. In these social spaces, live chat is always on so you can hear every player within a certain range around you. Do you know what you hear? "Mom, I said I will eat dinner later"! "Shit I don't want to go to work tomorrow". "Whhaaaa! Whaaaaa"! (Loud music) And, my favorite (Crunch! Crunch! CRUNCH!) Destiny will be even worse since there are more people playing that than ESO. Yes you could have the option of muting people but you will end up muting damn near everyone.

Stop using it then, I've never used it, and I've completed everything.

Why not just join a clan?
