$20 for Emotes? REALLY?

So, Most people are already aware over the controversies surrounding the $80 Taken King Collector's Edition and the fact that purchasing it was the only way to acquire 3 new emotes, 3 armour shaders and a small few exotics. Well, now bungie has "apologised" to everyone that have been with the game since the beginning by allowing people to purchase these small shaders, emotes and exotics in a bundle for $20, What the -blam!-? Are you having a laugh mate? This strikes myself as being ridiculous. We're all aware that Bungie and Activision have already taken this awesome community for a bunch of fools on numerous occasions and this new deal just seems like an even bigger slap in face to all of us. We may be willing to pay up for the previous expansion packs but for the love of God, let's all stand together and tell bungie that this $20 DLC is way too messed up. DON'T BUY THIS -blam!-ING RIDICULOUS $20 DLC, VOTE WITH YOUR WALLET, and lets show em that we can't be completely walked over. Stay strong bro's and girl bro's! Edit 1: The reason for this post wasn't to complain that Bungie have made the content available for everyone (which is great), it's that everyone should not buy this content due to its unbelievably high price, as more shady business decisions like this could appear down the line that could affect the communities ability to actually play the game. (As for now, yes I understand that these are stupid optional content, that won't really affect anyone's overall enjoyment of the game. However, we should think bigger picture for what could happen in the future) Edit 2: Not complaining about the fact that they aren't free, just that $20 is too much for a small cosmetic package. Just saying, that if enough people buy it, then it can signal to bungie that an over blown pricing structure like this is Okay. (I never complained about wanting the cosmetic items, just that bungie seems to be screwing over the people that do want them with the pricing)

  • You do realise that the people selling this shit to us are the type of people that go to Florida for 3 weeks and pay about 5 grand or more to go there? They don't give a shit if a few hundred people don't buy their stuff because there will be a profit target that they intend to hit, and they will because there's a lot of people with money out there
