Why are the Trials of Osiris a bloodbath?
I'm furious with Bungie! Why make a competitive game mode where the only way you can win is with either a thorn or a last word? Why does everyone in your fireteam have to have gone flawless before? Why do you have to grind for a hand cannon and you can't use any other weapon type?
Newsflash Bungie: not everyone likes to use hand cannons! Some people would rather not be a cheap player to win a competition! Fix your game!

I've seen people go flawless with melee only. You're just complaining because you suck and can't overcome a challenge.

Bungie doesn't make you use the handcannons. Bungie doesn't make you play the game. Nothing is wrong I. The trials of Osiris except the cheaters who will get what they deserve. No, if you can't beat those weapons, use them. And if you say "if I do, I'll be using crutches" or something like that. It won't matter. Because whether or not you use those "crutches", they will continue to do so.

Edited by Jin: 8/10/2015 3:56:22 AMI've made it flawless with. Last word No land beyond Universal remote. Mida I've also made it flawless a bunch of times using only sniper and grenades. You don't need a last word or thorn to go flawless. It's just skill based. I do prefer a last word though as I hate shotguns. (Nerf won't affect me at all) Neither thorn or last word is cheap neither. Yes they are very effective but no are they in anyway cheap or guarantee you flawless. This week's map I found no land beyond more effective. The only thing that's cheap in trials is the thorn glitch and final round. Players need to stop making up excuses on why they can't win 6 measly matches before loosing 2. (Most players use the buffs)

Saw a youtube of three people going 9 and 0 with only no land beyond, 1 super without kills, and 1 punch kill.

My team and I went flawless 3 times this weekend without using shotguns. Yeah, so we used the last word on a map that is suited for it, but we spent a lot of time with our sniper rifles out and popping skulls from distance.

Don't be a pussy. I have never required someone that has gone flawless. I do use last word I admit. My favorite gun. Call me what you wish. However, it is very possible to go flawless without a single exotic hand cannon.

I've mained snipers, pulse rifles, autos, and even scout rifles in the trials. It just depends on how well you know your gun, honestly. But yes, it is overrun by handcannons and shotguns.
