Calling all Hunters!

I've put 600-700+ hours into a Warlock. I then started playing a Titan, deleted my main Warlock to make 2 Titans and never looked back that was months ago. Now I want a secondary character. I remade my Warlock and started using Hunter. I think the Hunter is pretty cool. It just has this cool vibe to it. In PVP Hunters are pretty good. It's just as enjoyable as my shoulder charging, fistful of lightning Titan in PVP. However in PvE I'm at a loss. I don't feel all that powerful. When comes to smaller enemies I dispatch then very quickly with the combination of precision weapons and throwing knives, quick and easy one shots. But when it comes to things more powerful, I don't feel that great. It also feels like I can't appropriately support my team against difficult enemies aswell. Golden Gun is good on majors or ultras if I pop a few sniper shots into them first, but what's the point if 2 or 3 more shots would've killed him anyway. Any tips guys?

  • I almost always run gunslinger. I typically use a hand cannon and use chain of woe and gunslinger's trance. Clear mobs to build stability and reload, then use a sniper for the heavier baddies. With the increased stability it is easier to chain your headshots on them. Or use a LMG with the boosted stability for the v sane reason. Or if using a shotty triple jump is great for hit and run. Get in quick and fire a few shells and get out. You don't want to stand toe to toe with a lot of things. Golden gun is great for those mid tier enemies that other classes might not want to use a super on, but are still really annoying. Like a couple of boomer knights or something. Hit the ones that give you two orbs instead of the little guys who give one. Most of those should still drop in one shot.
