DROP LAST GEN CONSOLES
After HoW bungie needs to drop support for the last gen systems. They're holding the rest of us back. New content is being made with last gen console constraints in mind, which leaves the potential of next gen consoles completely unrealized. This game will never truly be great as long as it's held back by decade old hardware. Tonight's update has made it clear that the future of destiny will be filled with these types of concessions because of the last gen systems. If they can't add something as simple as vault space, imagine how this will affect future dlc! It's time that this game realized its full potential, it's time that it became legend. It's time to drop the last gen consoles.

7 RepliesGood luck trying to drop support for 360/PS3 when Destiny was sold under the assumption that it would be supported on those consoles. Besides potential lawsuits, they would lose a mountain of money from those markets. If you haven't figured it out yet, they're doing everything they can to make the most money, [u][b]not[/b][/u] make the best game.

4 RepliesYour fault for buying a game that is supported for both consoles. Besides once it comes to PC they will definitely drop all console support like dungeon defenders did. Then we can both be happy. This is why I didn't buy it for the new console because I am not an idiot like you are. The only games that will successfully be supported to your standards will only be available either on one system or just the PS4 and Xbox One. Sorry you were too ignorant to see that from the beginning, ask for your money back I guess.

Listen I'm on next gen to, but you can't just force people to buy a next gen console. Bungie has many fans on last gen consoles too. But if they do what you said, then they would loose a lot of support and money.

2 RepliesLast gen systems are not holding Destiny back. Plenty of games succeeded at not being completely void of content across generations of consoles. But it's cute that they've allowed you and a few naive players on next gen to believe that it's due to their bleeding hearts for last gen that their game has no depth and a deteriorating gameplay experience. Bungie can add vault space and all the other updates they want to next gen; you still bought a $20 faux-mmo for $60 and keep buying dlc's like the tool you are, sir. Notice no other games existing across both generations cite this issue. #Truth: it's just not a very good game. Additionally, you have events on next gen that we don't have on last gen.. If Bungie wanted to give you some update that they weren't giving us, I'm confident they could do it. But keep crying. Bungie doesn't hear you anyway lol

4 RepliesI agree though, not fair to those who bought a "current gen console" aka xbone/ps4. You pay to support the industry and Microsoft/Sony. The least the developers can do is make 2 different copies/versions of the software. Especially if they are greedy enough to try and make extra money by making it multi platform compatible. No offense to everyone who spent they're 300 dollars on a 360/PS3 but come on that was 10 years ago bro.. Get with the times. You can now buy a brand new 360 for like 100 dollars and destiny for 45-60. Paying 160 to have the same experience as someone who's paying 350 (Xbox one/ps4) +65 dollars for destiny copy, 160 compared to 415? I think the "current gen console owners" have a legitamitely gripe. What do you think DEEJ? Bungie? Microsoft? Sony? United republic of destiny forums?
