Well the last week or so I have been getting disconnected from Destiny and immediately afterwards, Xbox Live. I am using an Xbox 360 with a hardwired connection and I have done all the port forwarding and everything that both Microsoft and Bungie recommended. I also spoke to a Microsoft rep who basically told me that he has the same problem and pretty much blamed Bungie. He said it used to happen to a lot of people back in September and now it's cropping up again. I can't believe bugs like this are considered normal. Can someone from Bungie at least confirm that this is a known issue and give some feedback to the community as to what is being done? I can definitely say that I won't be buying any Comets or sequels until this issue is permanently resolved.
