Exotics. Those shiny yellow drops that are so coveted, and sought after. Perhaps atheon was kind enough to throw an ice breaker your way. Or maybe you paid a visit to one certain agent of the nine, to spend your hard earned motes and coins on his current yellow curios. But some players are covetous and full of jealousy. Whenever Xur happens to sell something good, its apparently a problem, and anyone who spent thier coins is a dirty peasant not worthy of wielding said weapon. Now most players have enough common sense to know that this is simply false. and for those of you who still think stomping an all burn nightfall and getting a Gally is earned more than playing all week and earning currency, let me put this in a different perspective. Ever play a game like Metroid? You start with little to nothing, but as you progress, you gain new abilities and powers that help you progress and defeat enemies more effectively. [b]Think of exotics in a similar manner[/b] They are not special status symbols. They are not some privileged thing that only a select pantheon of players are worthy to wield. Exotics are tools/abilities, that every gaurdian should have in thier arsenal as an option for different situations or perferred play styles And one other thought. We all earned our exotics when we payed 60 bucks for this damn game. To most of you this thread is old regurgitation on this forum, but I just feel that this needed to be said, as many players still feel the negative way about exotics. However you feel or got your bad ass drops. Have fun and enjoy slaying minions of the darkness.
