THANK YOU!
The "House of Wolves" DLC will bring in many new counts of weapons and armor for Crucible, Vanguard, and Raid! The Raid armor is meant to bypass previous Raid armor and increase maximum light level cap.
This Petition is meant to change the vendor gear to +28 Light on par with the release of the House of Wolves DLC, we ask that Bungie add all previous armor models back to the shop, the intro level gear will give +28 Light, TDB gear should be unlocked @ level 30 and give +33 Light, and so on with HoW DLC.. This ensures the armor can be chosen for PVP performance or cosmetics.
In order to reach level 30, you will need a total of 120 Light. With the release of The Dark Below, new exotics give +36. Therefore you could still easily reach level 30 if the vendors sold +28 gear. 36 + 28 + 28 + 28 = 120.Players can reach level 30 without completing Vault of Glass. Furthermore, at level 30, Vendors will be able to sell +33 Light armor to boost to 31.
Separate Idea (not for petition)
When you break down armor, you receive a "Light Aura (+XX). Lets say you break down "Voidfang Vestments" which had a Light of +30; you would receive "Light Aura (+30)". This can be added to any other armor to change it's maximum light to that of the Light Aura.
For Example: You breakdown Sunbreakers with +36 Light, and receive a Light Aura (+36). You use the Light Aura (+36) with your "Gloves of the Hezen Lords" (VOG Gloves). This would increase the Light bonus from +30 to +36. This will allow for ABSOLUTE Customization as for armor. Light Aura can only be used on armor that has already been leveled up completely.
no,no,no,no&no sorry, but I don't want to spend 6 weeks just to get the gear for my hunter to even LOOK at HoW and id like to see newer players that I can take through it and crap. because teaching a noob is actually fun. not"oh well ur done with VoG...see ya next week dude" seems utterly even more of a grind from what I saw
