Error Code Canary

My friend continues to get this error and it is making it impossible to play together for more than 10-15 minutes tried all the supposed fixes that have been suggested by everyone else but yeah nothings working for him does anyone know of a solid fix for this or at the very least if bungie is aware or acknowledged that it is a thing?

  • Is your friend on virgin media superhub 2 by any chance? If so, this may help: Tell him to go to his PC browser and login to his router settings 192.168.0.1 (password by default is changme) Go to advanced settings then select Wireless radio you'll then see three speed options for each bandwidth, the 2.4ghz and the 5ghz. My xbox one was on the 5ghx channel with the speed set to 450mbs, I selected the 54mbs option and applied and saved. It will disconnect for about 30 seconds then he may have to renter his router password when he connects. I did this a few weeks ago and haven't had any problems since.
