Dear Bungie: Suggestion for a new PVP mode.

Dear Bungie, I don't play a ton of PVP (especially when I'm not trying to get certain PVP gear or have to do it for an Exotic bounty), but I do occasionally enjoy playing Clash and Control on my hunter. Having recently been spending time focusing on hunting down swordbearers, a thought occured to me about a new PVP mode that could be a lot of fun. I call it Heavy Swords but that's kind of a terrible name and I'm sure you could come up with something better. Regardless, it's only heavy weapons and swords. No primary or special weapons at all, no grenades or class melee. Supers are still in place. Player health and shields are buffed significantly while holding the sword so that a single sword blow or rocket or Super attack doesn't kill unless you're not holding a sword. All players are equipped with a sword at all times, but they have to drop it in order to switch to their heavy weapon. Heavy ammo drops like normal, so that players are forced to get into close quarters more often than not. This can be it's own gametype with team and free for all variants, alongside Clash and Control and the like, or it could be a modifier for existing gametypes. Imagine Heavy Swords in a game of Control! The winning-est strategies are going to be sneaking up on folks so you can land the first blow, and tag teaming with another player on your team. But watch out! Too many players ganging up make an awfully tempting target for the other team to nuke all at once. Preferred map size would be smaller, so as to funnel players into sword fights more often, but if you're playing Heavy Swords on an obective gametype larger maps would work as well. Larger maps would more fequently force the players to decide if they want to use ranged heavy weapons and possibly escape sword wrath, but the flipside is that question of how quickly the opponent can close the distance and bring the pain - and how quickly you can grab you sword after firing that rocket. Thoughts and feedback? As always, thanks for making Destiny as much fun as it is, and thanks for listening to player feedback.
