List of Bugs

Currently there are a few issues that need looking into. This is by no means a complaint post just a list for Bungie to reference whenever the time comes that they are trying to fix issues. I work as a software engineer and when you have something as large as Destiny to manage, it does take time to address all of the bugs and to maintain the software. Especially the less essential bugs. Which hopefully will be noted in this list for when that time does come. Feel free to post additional bugs and I will add them to the list after I have verified them (either by testing or by multiple references). Thank you for taking to the time to read this post and hopefully we will be able to help make Destiny an even greater game then it already is. [u][b]Gameplay[/b][/u] [b]1. Disappearing heavy ammo[/b] The disappearing of heavy ammo when using equipment that increases your heavy ammo. Because of this bug both pairs of raid boots tend to hurt you more than help. This wouldn't be a big issue if it weren't for the fact that you need the raid boots to reach the maximum level. [b]2. Possible server lag[/b] Now this is less of a bug and more of a possible server management issue. It seems that Saturday-Monday the raids become exponentially glitchier. Evidence of this would be: enemies glitching around, Crota standing after kneeling after a very short period of time, the swords disappearing or not picking up whenever they have been dropped, the chalice disappearing or not allowing you to pick it up, ogres spawning at irregular intervals (this could be intentional here), enemies taking 2 to 3 times more shots to kill due to what I am guessing is damage not registering on the server (most noticeable whenever doing the Atheon fight and the oracles taking a little less than 2 whole clips of ammo with a maxed vision of confluence), Crota being able to see invisible hunters, and the list could go on and on. I am not sure when the servers are reset, if it is only done every Tuesday morning at 1 AM PST, then it might be nice for a mid-week reset. On the weekend it might also be due to a large number of people playing the game, but if that is so then you might need invest that large amount of money that we have paid you for more bandwidth on your network or a better server. Also, just to note, I have tried going to orbit changing fireteam leader and then returning to see if changing the host would fix the issues, and this did not help. [b]3. NAT type communication errors in fireteams[/b] [b]4. Level reset on heroic settings[/b] Not sure if everyone know the work around for this or not, but if you hold square (I am a PS4 gamer so I would be using PS4 references) to reset a level and then switch it to a heroic level setting, the level will not be reset for that heroic setting. You can however choose the level, and whenever you open the list of different level settings you can use the square button to reset a level on whichever level setting that you want. This wouldn't be a bug if the option was listed, but currently it is not displayed to the user inside of the level settings like it should be. More times than not people that I inform of this had no clue that they could do it and were just finishing the levels and then restarting the level so they can start from the beginning. [b]5. Ammo synthesis not working whenever you use them whenever you are dead[/b] This might no longer be an issue since I haven't tested it a while. Please let me know if it has been fixed and I will remove it from the list. [b]6. Ammo synthesis not working whenever you consumable items are full[/b] I have not seen this issue, but I keep most consumables in the vault so I can share them easily between characters, but I had seen it listed multiple times in the forums so I figured I would add it. [b]7. Eris Morn bounties' reputation will not increase other factions after you have reach the max level of 4[/b] This might not be a bug. I figured I would list it since the Vanguard and Crucible bounties work. [b]8. Raids not allowing you to earn glimmer[/b] This is probably not a bug, but I don't see the point of not allowing us to earn glimmer while investing hours in raids. [b]9. Thralls attack you through the force fields during the Crota boss fight[/b] If someone were to jump on the ledge on the outside and there were thralls in the room where the crystal to start the boss fight is, then the thralls and the cursed thralls can kill/hurt you through the glass. [b]10. Knights run through force fields[/b] If you stand too close to the force fields before the crota boss fight starts, the knights with the swords will glitch through the force fields and attack you before the force fields have dropped. [u][b]Grimoire[/b][/u] [b]1. Guardian->Sub-Classes->Guardian Abilities[/b] [b]2. Places->Mercury->Mercury[/b] [b]3. Activities->Raids->Raids Introduction[/b] Crota's End isn't counting towards your overall completions. [b]4. Activities->Crucible Playlists->Combined Arms[/b] [b]5. Activities->Crucible Playlists->Doubles[/b] I am not 100% sure this is glitched or if it just hasn't been offered yet. [b]6. Major enemies not counting toward kill count[/b] Best example would be yellow ogre kills not counting towards overall ogre kill count. This one might be intentional, but if it is then that is strange. [u][b]Improvements[/b][/u] [b]1. Vault access via app or orbit[/b] The time wasted having to travel to the city and switching characters has become cumbersome. Whenever you only have 1 hour to play, you don't want to have to spend 10 minutes flying around to try and items on the right character. [b]2. More vault space[/b] For us collectors/completionists that keep 1 of each exotic weapon/armor and 1 of each raid weapon/armor; 20 slots for armor and 20 slots for weapons is just not large enough considering the fact that there are currently 25 exotic weapons alone.
