Story is mostly in the title. I've been trying to play for the last week or so on my Xbox 360 and have been constantly disconnecting at least every 5 minutes, typically too fast for me to finish any mission. It takes at least 10 times for me to complete a mission because of all the interuptions. I've been giving it the benefit of the doubt because apparently I chose the same time to start playing as an update but it's really getting ridiculous. I've tested my signal multiple times while playing, nothing else even stutters and I haven't gotten as much as 1% packet loss on any of the dozens of tests I've run. Destiny is the only game that causes any of these issues so it seems to be left up to the servers at this point.

Edited by FaKeMeSSiAh2120: 1/24/2015 6:49:02 PMI've had this problem until last night. Do you use Comcast at all? They updated their routers to put out a secondary signal for free internet to people. This second signal interferes with the main one that the home owners are on. This causes the channels to drop all people connected then reconnect them. Hence why you can log back in shortly after being dropped. Had my computer genius buddy work on it 3 tines. Port forwarding, resetting the router, opening all ports. Nothing worked. Then he hopped onto our xfinity.com account, and disabled the xfinity hotspot (i called xfinity and they told me it was off. They lied so don't trust their phone people). Once he turned it off he set everything back to normal on the router. With that extra WiFi still off, and I have not had a single problem since. I looked for a month for a solve, and this is it. Knock that out if you're with Comcast and you'll have no issues anymore I guarentee. If I end up having the issue again ill let you know. If this didn't work and only got me a lil while of uninteruoted gameplay I'm buying a new router of my own
