Hello Bungie and Guardians While I do not travel these forums often and understand there is a multitude of suggestions for improving the game I feel that this may be embraced by many of your own Bungie artists and designers alike. There has been what seems to be a consistent complaint about the unfortunate reality that with Raid gear becoming the best viable option all characters begin to look alike. While I know many have suggested Shaders, I feel that there is a great deal of art already made, being wasted in the game. There are armor pieces in this game that many players would prefer over the style of the current "Best Gear" Even some of the low level gear in this game has very promising style. DO Not Let This Gear Go To Waste! Currently destiny pushes you to increase your light level in gear which is a mechanic that seems to work well. However it banishes most gear to the scrap pile never to be seen at high level. The way I suggest to correct this is to allow a consumable to drop from dismantling high level gear which would allow you to increase the light level and stats of a lower piece. This would force players to still complete the high level content to reach max light level. However allow players to customize their armor set and image at the same time. Don't let all this original art work and hard work go to waste! Don't make us all live in a cookie cutter world to be relevant!
