Nerf Activsion's greed
Seriously the DLC was so over charged for that kind of money we should get new planets
*Edit - did not expect this many replies, I will say I love destiny and have put many hours into it however, the DLC was over priced as it was more expensive in the UK than in the US and the content was poor for that price, it was all set it already existing locations except for the raid.
I'm also not going to buy any future activson/bungie products, this time of greed from gaming companies needs to stop where they cut content and resell it as DLC, all they did was add new enemies in old locations

The dlc was three missions, 12 new exotics. Recycled legendary armor, 3 pvp maps and a really easy raid. That's a $10 value as I only got two days out of it(minus the raid which I don't need until hard mode). The CoD dlc is more worth it.

24 RepliesReally, $20 dollars is not even the cost of a tank of gas, a sit down meal or even a good movie. Everyone wants a good paying job even the beleaguered designers, coders and artist that make the games. Talent, marketing and distribution are expensive and nothing is ever free.

Still can't believe I pre-ordered this bull shit. Can't wait for the shitty Wolves DLC to come out so I can put this game to rest. Anything that says Bungie or Activision on it is poison.

1 Replynow THIS is a nerf that I can get behind, but it's not just Activision. many other developers, most notably EA, are also greedy bastards that will happily ruin great games and franchises if it gets them a profit.

2 RepliesMy team got together on the day of release of Dark Below going "This is it! They're going to fix the glaring issues with this game! They'll do it!" then about 2 hours later, after all the missions had been completed in less than 40 minutes on the hardest difficulty, to discover that all the areas were only unlocks of zones that were already in game, then play the THREE maps added to multiplayer (Or more accurately, hit Skyfall 6 times in a friggin row) we realized "That's it. That's all there is..." While I have continued to support Bungie since the beginning. I will be first to admit, this is getting really.... really... hard.

4 RepliesI shared similar concerns at first with dlc. However after diving into the new raid, among other fun strikes and missions, receiving new gifts from bungie for free, and a forum that appears like they see and respond to what we are discussing have changed tone a bit. If you step back the game play is phenomenol, the character depth fun and most people cannot put it down. I do feel the dlc was a but of a stumble for them content wise for the one dimensional type player e.g. (pvp only or pve only). You Will see limited content, but when viewed overall and as a title trying a completely new mix of online first person gaming, we are all on a learning curve. Best way to fix is keep sending up feedback to bungie so that it continues to grow the way we all hope it will. Happy hunting and new year.

8 RepliesThe fact the uk had to pay £20 to the Americans $20 was disgusting as exchange rates should have been taken in to account(no offence to any Americans). I won't be buying further dlc based on how little was received for £20 £15 might seem a small difference but I see it as a hell of a lot more fair everyone should pay the same base price. (For those not from the uk £15 is about what you get for $20)

Let's see, one mission set in the devil's lair strike run backwards that literally can be completed in under 3-4 minutes if you run through the pathetic start of it. The other two, both set in a place that was previously locked off so it can be sold to us for more money. Then, the highly advertised new raid is literally broken from start to finish and has been cheesed so much it makes Publix deli jealous. Then, you have the great Omnigul strike who is literally just another wizard who does absolutely nothing different from any other wizard but.....wait for it........screams. Add to that, the Undying Mind strike is YET AGAIN set in the same place as another mission as to not have to waste money creating new material. Bungie is lazy and downright incompetent.

My friend has an account on my xbox and he couldn't tell what was dlc. Dlc should be a noticeable difference.

This was specifically an expansion dealing with the Hive and the new character Eris Morn, who gives out a new series of Hive-related quests. The main quest is to end their threat to the Earth. So, no new planet, since Earth has been in existence the whole game. The story content alone to play through the Eris quest missions is about 2-3 hours (for a single character). Compare this to 8-10 hours for the original release story game. The amount of content is comparable. "Greed"- you keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

It's more expensive than any game I have played for dlc and that was new stuff we had to download not content that's always been there we just haven't been able to access it
