Turtle Error Fix- XB1

Hello all, Sunday night I was disconnected from Destiny and received the error code: Turtle. The game goes to the title screen, I press A, and then I get the turtle error and the explanation that I've failed to connect to Destiny servers. I have tried EVERYTHING to fix this. I have power cycled my xbox, I have downloaded and reinstalled Destiny 3 times, I have cleared the cache. Nothing works. I live on a university campus with a Moderate NAT so I cannot change many of the port settings that others have said work. I have contacted the campus OIT department and they have watched what happens when I log on and they say it is connecting fine on their end. Destiny and my xbox work perfectly when I take it to a friend's house to play on their internet. If anyone has any idea what I need to do any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey there dava, It definitely sounds like it's something to do with your University's network. I've done a google search, and apparently opening up the following ports can solve the issue: Destiny Port Range Direction 7500-17899 (TCP) Outbound 30000-40399 (TCP) Outbound 35000-35099 (UDP) Inbound and Outbound 3074 (UDP) Inbound and Outbound I doubt you'd be able to open these yourself and so I reckon you'd need to ask your University's network admin if they could do it for you.
