So as we know the preorder bonuses were a bit, well, crap. When you get all five gold chests in the Cosmodrome you get an uncommon sparrow with the same stats anyway, so the early game speedboost was nice but ultimately flawed. Chances are Bungie may make this sparrow available to all soon anyway (didn't it say exclusive until January?), but by now everyone's scooting about on sparrows of equal or greater value. So what can we do with it? My proposal? Make it rare and allow us to upgrade it. Perhaps only with the RED trail from Xur? Different perks, maybe a little extra speed? Tumbler tricks? I just think it's too nice a sparrow to leave with Tess forever. The green trail would have made it look nice and Christmassy actually, I should have thought of this sooner!
