Am i the only person who thinks matchmaking in raids would be one of the best things bungie could do, to revive this game!
slowly everyone is turning on the game, personally i love it.
but i think with the addition of matchmaking to raids, this would encourage people to raid, and they would gain gear.
-
You guys realize with matchmaking you can still make your own teams. Jesus Christ what's the point of not having it. If you don't wanna mess with finding a team (even though it's easy) you should be able to just matchmake. Yeah, 75% of the time your team will suck but who cares. At least have the option.
-
My thought is if you aren't willing to put forth the effort to organize/look for a team either IRL or on a forum of some sort, then I doubt you're willing to put forth the effort to actually complete a raid.
-
Yes, you are the only one who thinks matching making for raids would be a good idea. What's the point ? To be matched with random levels to beat a raid that's not gonna happen. Knowing damn well level 28s & 29s want to do hard raids and want to be matched up with 30s+ Thanks but no thanks !
-
I used to be like you... Until I realized you CANT do a raid with a bad team Literally takes forever to kill Crota if your team sucks But if you are good it will be the easiest thing
-
I do not want to be matched with people with no Mics or trolls. Or who quit. I like gathering friends to raid. I find it more fun.
-
Absolutely not. Matchmaking would destroy the raids. There would be more people quitting than any strike and crucible match combined.
-
This would be dumb.. I feel like if I went into matchmaking, I would get put into a raid with a bunch of kinderguardians that have no clue what to do.
-
Bump .... biggest failing of the game ... that I truly enjoy playing
-
If you think pugs are bad wait till rng gets involved
-
Yes because it takes forever to use destinylfg
-
Holy shit. It's 50/50 exactly. Never change!
-
I think yes but It should be optional because I would never use it but others will
-
There will need to be some regulation to this such as a timer when jumping from too many raid parties. Requirement standards will also be needed because honestly if you're lvl 27 or 29 trying to do a lvl 30 raid it's just not happening. Especially if the perso. Doesn't have maxed weapons. In turn I said yes. But I think the LFG aspect needs to be somewhat integrated in the game somehow. Making the bar at the bottom of the hanger useful as a place to meet and to post listings of fresh raids, certain cp, nightfall teams, crucible teams etc. almost like a separate message system from the console knowing how slow messaging from the console can be.
-
HAHAHAHA F*CK NO, YOU HAVE OBVIOUSLY NEVER PLAYED CROTA, A GROUP OF MATCHMADE SCRUBS BEATING CROTA? HAHAHAHA YOU F*CKING RETARD. GOOD F*CKING LUCK.
-
Almost exact 50/50 split... Beautiful.
-
Never seen a poll go 50-50
-
I think it'd be awesome...specially if you got 3 people and you need 3 more
-
yes but with some modifications. def not automatic team making like strikes and crucible. mInwish there was an in game bullitin board with people's messages and info (like level, class, etc) or chat bubble "macros" likenthe ones they use in phantasy star online at the LEAST (remember those? had some super creative ones). bulltin would work best where people can flag thenselves and people can accept then into group or join with permission.
-
Yes! With a different type of system than the system the Strikes have.
-
You would get people with no mic's, or that just don't talk, or that have horrible weapons, or have no experience at all etc.
-
I voted yes. But I would hope that if they did it then it would be a somewhat organized version of what they use for strikes.
Having to use a system outside of the game to find a raid group is the dumbest shit ever. Defend it if you'd like to but it only shows how dumb you are as well
-
Maybe matchmaking if you have atleast a party if 2 or 3 as raids that aren't broken require great communication. And ppl will get really frustrated if one of the people they get matched up with sucks ass and they can't complete the raid
-
Yes!!

Edited by MaKEshiFT51: 12/19/2014 1:38:19 AMNo matter how many of these threads are made, Bungie's president himself said that matchmaking is NEVER coming to raids. And it doesn't need it. It would lead to A LOT of AFK gamers! If after 3 months, people haven't made new friends, got in or formed a clan with people on their raid own time frame/availability schedule, that's THIER own fault, NOT Bungie's. Enough people already get in Strikes, go AFK, and don't talk. Imagine any or all of that a raid. Matchmaking isn't needed. Make friends, problem solved.

Afkers

in theory its a good idea, but raids do need teamwork and not everyone will see eye-to-eye
