Boar

I keep getting Boar error when trying to download the patch. I already checked, and everything *should* be fine on my side. The error message says that the expansion pack is missing (!).

    Hi UaituDevurur, The BOAR error message can occur when there is trouble grabbing new files to download. As the PlayStation Network is conducting scheduled maintenance today, this would explain why you and others will see this error. If you're experiencing strange behavior while playing or accessing Destiny, it is likely due to maintenance. We thank you for your understanding and patience.           So... Ummmm... its been ~19 Hours since you broke my game;- it's not my psn region, my ps hardware is not broken, my network is fine, the ps store is working fine, i deleted and re-installed everything (not because i thought it would work, i knew it wouldn't but just so i could say it here without lying) heck i even created a new psn account and tried that ludicrous theoretical fix which didn't solve anything and i still can't play my game. WTF Around 20 people on my PSN friends list are getting the same error, ranging from UK, France, Greece, Portugal, Germany and from reading the forum and asking on here people from Australia, New Zealand, India, Sweeden Denmark, Poland, Russia and possibly more I can't recall, the only people it seems to be working for are in the US and Canada. And there are even the odd few in the US getting it. If you don't have this fixed by the time Iron banner goes live are you going to be extending/ postponing it until everyone can play it for a week or are we just going to miss out? To be honest your crap excuses and fixes (which any idiot could tell weren't going to work or had any logical reasoning behind them) are wearing a little thin -> any news or updates on the problem? Ie "We -blam!-ed up the patch but we will re-release it later today at XX:XX we're really sorry" I reported the 'This post has been marked as the answer to this question' part of this thread for harassment as it was so wrong, condescending and not a fix or answer to the question and now i can no longer see it.

            Nos fastidian el ultimo dia de la camara de cristal y aun encima pagar 70€ para no poder jugar cuando hace 3 dias estubieron todo el dia de mantenimiento, esto es un robo, que me devuelvan el dinero, o espero que me regalen alguna expansion por las molestias

                [b]Update: Compatibility pack 2 is now on the EU PSN Store, go and try again everyone.[/b] [b]- Confirming it's installed and working... now do we get an appology and any in-game compensation for the unacceptable downtime and lack of communication?[/b] Bungie, for the amount of time this problem has persisted, you'd have thought you would have rolled back the build so that people could continue their gaming by now. I've just woken up here in the UK, and it seems our games still will not update, perusing the forum you can see just how many people have been reinstalling, faffing with US psn accounts in the hope that would work and still no avail. PSN maintainance finished an entire night ago, PSN store is working fine.. and still there is no 'plausable' solution. You say your actively working on it, whereas i'm inclined to believe due to the hour, you guys will pretty much have gone home and will now be soundly asleep. I'd be crucified at work if i allowed a problem to persist for this long. If we mess up this badly, and we can't fix it within a 'few' hours.. we have to roll our builds back until we can provide a fix. This is blatently the result of gross negligence, and i believe you owe the masses of frustrated customers better communication on this issue with an explanation of what measures you are actually taking to resolve this issue. To prevent so many people using the product they have purchased for such an extensive period also usually results in a customary show of compensation, generally in the form of gametime for subscription based models.. but what can you offer to compensate us for your failing in providing people the service they paid for? It would be appreciated if you could inform us with more detailed updates on what 'you' are doing rather than fobbing us off with extensive workarounds that don't even work. Lets hope this is fixed by the time we return from work. (Won't be holding my breath...) [b]UPDATE:[/b] It seems that BTHRZeroX on Reddit has discovered that on the US version of the PSN Store, there is a Pack 2 for destiny, whereas on the EU version we don't have that. Therefore bungie, if you have a EU version of the pack, get in touch with Sony and find out why it's not on there. Or more likely if you dont have the pack built.. get it built and sent to sony so they can upload it.                     Me too, this is just unacceptable. Never have I had so much problems with a game. Their timing is absolutely terrible. Can't believe I wasted my time and money on this. Get the finger out Bungie, I know you monitor these posts and don't blame it on the PSN network undergoing maintenance, you should have seen this coming. # unhappycustomer

                                • Hi, Stephan from SA. I am experiencing the same problems. What use to be the highlight of my day is becoming my worst nightmare. Thought the patch would increase my DESTINY experience but needless to say it is making me more frustrated every time the BOAR error code appears. Should this continue DESTINY might be filed in file 13.
