Today Shadow Ravens Alliance & Dads of Destiny will be launching a massive event to raise awareness of breast Cancer for the month of October. Ending in a fundraiser.
Were asking that all members of both Alliance's and the Community to go out and purchase/wear either one of these shaders - Aurora Blur or Provincial Royale (The queens wrath ones are fine as well).
Both can be bought from the Emblem & Shader vendor in the tower for around 2,300 Glimmer.
Thank you all, with your help and support, we will help spread awareness and hopefully help fund research.
A huge shoutout to both Dads of Destiny & Guardian Radio for partnering with us to put this together.

I would if I have pink shader lol
-
I don't have either shader, but I'll get it. As a Shadow Raven, I feel obligated.
-
Because wearing a shader in a video game advances breast cancer research.........
-
Stuff that might make you mad.
Breast cancer is the least of our worries. It's the most well funded and greatest advertised cause of any disease. And still has made very little advancement.. Though in the first place it's one of the least deadly cancers. (not that it isn't an important issue, but if you had to pick a cancer to get, I'd go with breast cancer since survival rates are well over 70% i believe). Again it's tragic people die of ANYTHING but I think we have much bigger problems and things going under funded and un-researched. Meanwhile many other cancers and ebola are killing like crazy. But we've got silly bracelets that say i <3 boobies so it's all good.
Mandyngo Party will support this.

Thank you for doing this! All us Dames will be wearing Pink when we raid this Monday. No a shader might not make someone more aware but it does show support and as someone who has experienced people close to me fighting this fight I can say that support is most important, because until we do have a full cure or a way to prevent it all together, every fighter will need as much support as they can get! Yes BC gets lots of attention but part of that is because of how common is actually is, and how many boobies there are in the world (yes i said boobies get over it ;p ) would it be great if all campaigns got this much attention yes i agree but that is no reason to stop supporting those fighting BC. Us Dames are also collecting donations to turn in at the end of the month! We appreciate your support and love and all your lovely pinkness! Ravens will forever be our Ally! As a chemotherapy nurse, I bump this as hard as I can. Believe me when I say "f*ck cancer." Show some support for what is the hardest thing many women will ever go through.
-
Love to see the super clans getting together and helping the community. Great job guys!
-
Way to go Shadow Ravens Alliance!
-
Shadow Raven here good shit guys, I'll be wearing pink!
-
Count me in - proud to be pink! This is a great idea and well done for promoting it.
-
I'm always down to support a good cause. This event is one of the many reasons I'm proud to be a member of SR.
-
Too bad more clans are not doing this also .
-
Much props Very awareness So raven (hue) WoW
-
Wearing pink doesn't make any one more aware about anything.
-
Of all the cancers out there breast cancer needs the least amount of "awareness". It's the most talked about cancer, people have ribbons on their car, sports teams wear pink, I love boobies bracelets, if this whole thing is going toward spreading awareness you're too late everyone is aware of breast cancer. If this is to help raise money for research... Then I'll support and make a donation.

Dads of Destiny supporting Breast cancer awareness, but not Testicular cancer? (which has hardly any press and is also a killer) Missed oppurtunity there.

Everybody join in. You can argue that "wearing a shade of pink will change nothing", but you're doing even less doing literally nothing. If you're even further inclined to call these brave Guardians out as "useless", redeem yourself by sending a dollar here: http://www.nationalbreastcancer.org/

Edited by JIreland: 10/10/2014 12:01:56 AMI'm in DOD and I'll show support. Damn these shaders are a large chunk of glimmer! F it! I'll get that glimmer back!
-
Fact is that it's just a shader and wearing it will cause no harm I'll b glad to pop the shader on if I'm not running in the iron banner it takes 5 seconds and to the people saying their are other cancers and diseases that are worse well do a awareness act of your own and stop trying to "educate" other people for doing a nice thing
-
I'd rather not have that agenda shoved into every aspect of my life including video games.
-
Got mine on and will be wearing it most of all October. Unless bungie comes out with a Halloween shader.
-
I will be equipping a pink shader and donating. I support this idea 100%. #f*ckcancer

I love boobs but hate pink so I will donate $100.00 Thanks for supporting a good cause.
