Co-op split screen?
[u]Hey Bungie,[/u]
Just a thought, I had some friends come over to play destiny with me. Then we realized that there is no split screen play...
Maybe this would be a good update or expansion for the future.

YESSS My step bro asked for it for Christmas. But I have no good people to play with. None of my friends are any good. Plus I'm the highest level. But at least my step bro we would coordinate better on split screen

2 RepliesFrom the level of detail in the game, size of maps, and all the enemies, I'm not sure consoles could handle split screen. I don't think the 360/ps3 could. Next gen might also have trouble if you didn't significantly drop the graphics. Of course I'm not a game dev, but I know it does take more resources to run split screen (halo lowers the draw distance on unscopped enemies in split screen, some call of duties didn't run full resolution iirc) And destiny is very detailed...I wouldn't be surprised if it was pushing limits as it is. That said, I would be perfectly ok sacrificing the graphics to play splitscreen if that is what it took, as in turning splitscreen on toggled a low graphics setting so your console wouldn't melt.

1 ReplyI've come across the same issue and playing die by die gets real annoying. Even having an option to play crucible offline to get split screen happening. It would be awesome to share it with my mates who can't afford the console and game.
