(if you're a decent player, you can play as any class just as well as the other classes - to their own strengths)
So why the do you say hunters are weak when you also say they can be played as well as the others?
That kind of refutes your original point, why buff a class that is on par with the others?

The problem was "to their own strengths" meant that one was always weaker than the other two. This all being said, however, the Warlock really does need more love. I've been playing Hunter for almost a week now to compare it against the Warlock and I can't go back now because of how mobile the Hunter is. I'm starting to feel that the "balance" in Destiny is the imbalance of all the classes abilities (triple jumps, blinks, grenades, etc). It just feels very messy to me... Either way, I'm glad that this (somewhat controversial) topic has garnered as much attention as it has. Players who don't outright attack me for being a scrub (or whatever) actively partake in the discussion and explain why I'm wrong, and/or that there are other elements that are unbalanced.

I just look at it as gg is best as high single target damage good for taking down those more powerful enemies. Sunsinger is awesome for wiping adds and filling up the teams super bars with orbs. Each class has a specialty of sorts, balance is something that will have to be continually worked on. The classes are supposed to fill different roles, wether they do so equally or not is always up for debate. Personally I'm glad they didn't just cookie cutter the classes for the sake of balance ease, but the side effect is a perpetual balancing act. As for what I've seen in strikes, I rarely see hunters even using supers oddly enough...
