After the initial shock & awe of the contents wore off, he began to notice that there were hidden redeemable codes scribbled everywhere! From the postcards to the weapons manual, even some of the iron-on patches hid keys to unlock additional virtual goodies! After some thought, he shared this information on Reddit, and the community discovered that these codes were not only redeemable but also reusable! These codes he discovered contained a multitude of emblems for everyone to enjoy! Shortly after his initial post to Reddit, he asked the Destiny subreddit moderator Rlight to step in and delete his initial post & to also repost the content for him. This was done in order to stem the massive stream of private messages that ensued from his initial discovery. About 12 hours after this all occurred, another Reddit user by the name of Thedirtyhood also received his Legendary Edition early. As he already knew of the previous emblem codes, he set in search of any additional codes that LtThunderpants may of missed. In this search, he stumbled upon two previously unknown codes hidden on the postcard from Mars & the picture of the Traveler, these codes were for both of the redeemable shaders that we know today! After the initial rush for the codes died down, a few individuals kept searching, determined that there were more codes in the mix, even with Destiny having launched, they continued to push forward. Reddit user AchillesPDX decided to search through the Weapon Manuel and discovered not only an encrypted code but also proceeded to decipher it! This lead to the discovery of the Emblem: Flames of Forgotten Truth for all users to wear!
