I'm personally not gay, but I believe that people should do what makes them happy.

That would be simpler, but they can't seem to make the logically connection with that question. They either just repeat it's not a choice, or yes they did choose straight.

At that point they aren't making a logical conversation anymore, they're avoiding the question. When some ignorant person says they chose to be straight, I ask when did you choose? In my experience that backs them far enough into a corner where they get mad/loud. Then I point n laugh :) but yeah, if you're dealing with someone who uses opinion over logic to judge YOUR life, well imo you have the right to laugh in their face lol. If they can't make a logical statement as to why they're correct you already won. And if you know you're right, and you know you won, and the fool keeps trying to argue w/o using sense? Laugh in their face n walk away. Nobody got time for that :)
