This is meant to show how well the first fish to leave the water could have handled a what was always thought to be a pretty difficult transition. I think whatever source you have that told you otherwise was probably from the late 1800s. Also, if evolution is a lie, there should be zero transitional fossils. The fact that you say there are few, while also contending they couldn't exist in the first place, might be something you should spend some time thinking about.
