PS Fanboys: Answer me this
[spoiler]Are there as many obnoxious fanboys on PSN as there are on XBL?
I ask this as a long time Xbox player who found one of the most irritating parts of XBL to be the egregious and innumerable fanboys that seemed to plague the Xbox community and tarnish it's legitimacy. One of my friends is unfortunately an Xbox fanboy and has been working tirelessly to provide me with copious amounts of empty rationale as to why the Xbox One is supperior to the apparent 'piece of sh*t PS4'.
I don't want the damn XB1 and the fact that I can tell it to change the channel and have it save me 5 seconds of my life from picking up the remote, doesn't change a damn thing! I don't want a glorified VCR, I want a damn gaming system.
And that White PS4 is lookin damn fine at the moment.[/spoiler]

Iwas about to say is this another one of them fanboy hatred crap like cmon. Xbox ps who cares!?! I've had all the consoles except xb1 I mainly prefer PLAYSTATION over Xbox. But does that make me a fanboy? No. If u say so. Then I wouldn't care but in my opinion I think Xbox starts this bc of the sales n the better performance on ps4. (Only stating the facts)

Not at all, I made the switch as well. It's because the xbox community revolves around competitive multiplayer games like COD and Halo and the majority of those players are no life adults, snotty teens, and crybaby entitled children who can't legally purchase those games. Since being on the PS4 I have yet to run into anyone who cusses extensively or insults other players for no apparent reason or is demanding and rude during missions and etc. we have all sorts of games that revolve around fun instead of KDR

Isn't people online and everyone is the friendlier then on Xbox live... I even had a Xbox 360 and switched to the ps4. In my opinion I would say switch? And also "the Xbox one is the all in one ENTERTAINMENT system" while the ps4 is" the place to play games"

You don't even have to mention anything sony, they will just assume you are attacking their precious console. very defensive people. The worst people you will meet on XBL are the MLG guys. Or the guys who take competitive multiplayer on shooters wayyyy to seriously. Although you gotta watch out for the guys who switched from 360 to ps4, they brought their bad habits with them. Also if you plan on buying gta v re-mastered, its just as bad as both consoles. just so you know

PS is mostly more mature gamers where Xbox has more kids who's parents bought their console and 'my friends all have Xbox so that's what I got' guys.

Every community has their fanboys but on PS it has been much better than it ever was on xbox

(Someone who likes the console & tells others) or ignorant & dedicated? The whole system is less kiddish right down to the home screen. It is a game console so kids are around but they do not overrun everything. I wanted a change so I made it, bottom line go with your "GUT" don't worry about finding friends.. That stuff happens through gameplay.

based on my experience in COD ghosts PS and XB, there are less swearing squeeling kids in PS.

1 ReplyI'll tell you what I tell all XB1 haters: It doesn't -blam!-ing. Matter which system is better. You pick the one you have the most friends on. Plain and simple. Multiplayer gaming is NOTHING without friends, and those who say otherwise are either loners or trolls. Quit posting dumb "what's your opinion?" posts and listen to what the smart people are saying. Sorry I had to go off like that but DAMN are you guys starting to get annoying.

Upgraded to ps4 an couldnt be happier. I never wanted an entertainment system over a gaming console, so i chose the ps4. Loving it as well

I don't even know why you bother with the fanboys. I get on a game to play not see who acts up or don't. I ignore the idiots. Trust me little kids would go where they hear the best thing come out of adults. If the PS4 has the #1 rank spot in sales then that's where they will go. We adults are leaders and the kids are followers. Remember little kids want the best things out today. Show some leadership. If they act up just ignore it. You would only go at it with someone if you start some crap or if they call you out because they are raging pretty hard. There's also a mute button , it's as simple as that. Don't let childish crap fume you bros. It's easy to avoid.

I switched from xbox 360 to ps4 and it was pretty seamless. I found the communities to be similar, each having the same spectrum of personalities you come across in game. My main concern was the controller and I think the dualshocks do a pretty fine job. Tbh I would switch to PS4 if you're all about games and not watching shows, it has some pretty cool features like live streaming and capturing gaming moments. There's a reason Sony has sold so many more consoles than Microsoft and it's cuz it's an excellent console

We'll the biggest reasons I like ps4 is.. 1. Destiny has more exclusive content 2. Project Morpheus (it looks so cool really hope it comes out in the next year) 3. I have friends on it
