There is no e-mail that tells you you played Destiny. Whomever is telling you otherwise is trying to trick you.
Your account says you have not played Destiny because everything from the Beta was wiped today. Nothing from the Beta carries over to the retail version of the game, and today the data was deleted to make room for September 9th.

Oh ok and I know (just remembered the wipe), but a few of my friends received an email from bungie saying some of their stats, not sure why
