What do you guys think about Bungie "favoring" Playstation?
It disappoints me that Bungie is leaning in favor of the Playstation rather than the Xbox or equality on both platforms. The exclusive content just seems a little unfair to me, even if it is timed. Even the beta was in favor of Playstation. It was open ten days for Ps and four days for Xbox. I know Bungie has favored xbox in the past, but I would rather it be fair between both platforms and I'm sure if I was on Playstation I wouldn't mind the extra care from bungie.
With that said, I want no hate, Just other peoples opinions on the matter.

My only real concern is that Bungie seems a little vague about the full extent of the exclusives. IF there are significant exclusives planned for the future, I want to know about it so I can plan accordingly. The timed stuff doesn't really bother me too much (but I admit, it does a little bit), but had I and my friends known about it we probably would have chosen the PS4 instead of the Xbone. We want to play this game together, and not all of us can just run out and buy a new system on a whim. We met playing on the 360 and just kind of migrated to the Xbone. Ultimately, I don't think it will be a big deal. I would love it if we all got the same stuff at the same time, but this is the way it is so I'll live with it. The game is going to be awesome regardless.

First off, XBox One guy. OK, now with the opinion. Don't care. Let them enjoy their TIMED exclusives. They mostly include a couple weapons, armor's, and ship skins. Most of which will probably only be uncommon at best and most of us would most likely find better equipment soon enough anyways. Everyone will get equal access to the expansions, which is the important thing really.

To be honest, I am not that bothered. Although it is nice having these benefits (I use a PS4 myself) I can't imagine that timed exclusives matter all that much. It's better than it being a system exclusive. That's what I think, anyhow.

8 RepliesSeriously? they are not favoring one over another, the reason for the timed exclusives is that bungie has not had any games on the Playstation since ps1 and with all the halo games released for the Xbox in the past. Bungie just wants to market destiny to the PS crowd more than the Xbox crowd as they already have alot of fans on the Xbox and not so much on PS as a result of no games since the ps1.

Its not bungie taking sides...its activison because sony shat out loads of cash to get more ps4 sales....kinda like xbox just did with tomb raider just THANK GOD!!! destiny isnt a ps4 exclusive...activison decided they wouldnt make the 500 million+ back from just playstation

It just seems that they are trying to pull PS4 players into the world of Bungie type games. They never gave them Halo so they are trying to gain their interest.

Same crap is happening with the next Tomb Raider It's an Xbox exclusive no Ps3 or Ps4 that's how the world turns when your competitor outsells your console 3 to 1

They aren't favoring anyone it was a business transaction between activision and psn. They payed for the extra beta time and TIMED exclusives microsoft did not pay bungie just made the game activision is in charge of marketing strategies.

I feel the same way. A brand-new series in Bungie gaming should of been equally long and shared for the Beta. Beta come out for PS3/4 first last for how ever long then the XBox 360/One comes out and play the same length then stop the beta for the XBox fans. that would of been way better then cutting XBox players off way too short.
