Why does $60 seem like the standard?
This video is about the current prices of games, I know this is off topic but I wanted to post in the place where it could get the most attention. If you have time to watch this 5 min. video please do and let me know what you think.
[b]EDIT:[/b] To clarify, this post is not meant to be a complaint. It's supposed to be an honest query to get people thinking about something they might not otherwise think of.

1 ReplyI completely agree with this. $60 for a game is ridiculous, considering thats almost a 4th of a next gen console. I think games such as Cod and Battlefield are just online games. Sure their campaigns are alright but that's not the main reason people buy them. Those should be 40-50$. Now I'm not trying to sound like a fanboy, but I think destiny will be worth the 60 because of how its structured. It's supposed to be centered around the campaign, and based on the beta, its very well made. The soundtrack and cinematics are just awesome. And like they said its supposed to be a world you can live in. And its a new concept, not like COD which has a new game every year with a similar story and "updated" graphics. Not trying to trash any other game just giving my opinion.
