I agree with everything you said except for the Xbox part? Considering that both console run on two completely different servers its impossible that the Xbox made that difference.. Maybe it was the two day maintenance that the Beta had to undergo which 'caused this? or maybe just maybe the mass amount of players in your area which during peak times your connection will slow down, after all we're playing on dedicated servers right?

  • Must have been the influx of new players. Bungie have said in their weekly update that the beta had more players online at one time than any of their previous games, even full releases!

  • I did not mean for it to sound like a fanboy statement, in no way was that the intention. Whatever the cause was for hugely increased amounts of lag in-game on PS4 I am only associating it with the period after the maintenance when the Xbox consoles became part of the beta. I was not saying the Xbox is the cause of the problem simply that lag worsened during this period; there could be a host of reasons for it but Bungie did mess something up during this period which was not present during the first week.
