Problems with Halos story/multiplayer
The subject is the problems embedded within halos plot (duh)
What got me into making this thread was because of questionable moments in the game. One in particular being how cortana was able to teleport chief in the first halo but seems to have forgotten how to do it in the sequels. And also, how come there couldn't be a space ship level for multiplayer?
And last but not least, when will I get to fly a pelican in multiplayer? (343 teases us with that one mission). Gosh I already know someone's gonna bash halo 4...
So was there anything that you found displeasing in the story? Something confusing or just made you mad?
Any mission in the game that you thought was lame? Any multiplayer level that you've always hated? Or maybe you want the return of past vehicles and weapons?
Whatever the case, just hope the next halo fixes your needs :)
Note: I'm not bashing the game at all.
I'm just addressing things people overlook or want change for.
In all words just pitch in your thoughts and ideas

That's how the Monitor moves about so quickly. I learned how to tap into the grid when I was in the Control Room. Unfortunately, each jump requires a rather consequential expenditure of energy. 4 RepliesI found Halo 4s campaign was very good except they didn't explain who the Didact and Librarian were. Unless you read the books you would have no clue. Multiplayer was just terrible it was just tacky and lacked refinement which an early beta build could have helped. Plus Infinity Slayer is terrible for many reasons mainly as you couldn't play Halo how we did in 2 and 3. Reach was a far better and polished engine.

Cortana is an artificial intelligence, she uses systems around her to accomplish goals, covie ships have teleported, she used them to teleport chief

If you want pelicans/spaceships in multiplayer, just get Halo Custom Edition.

Cortana was using the Installation's Teleportation grid. This -blam!-ed up his armour and was only done once. This was never used on Delta Halo as age never gained access to it, and likewise for the Ark. However, she is able to use Requiem's portal grid to transport the Chief but only when she's in the system.

5 Replies- 90% of Halo 3's story - 95% of Reach's - About 60-70% of the Kilo-5 Trilogy - Uprising - Initiation - Dietz's writing style in The Flood - "Spartans Never Die" being woefully taken out of context by the community - Some of The Cole Protocol's more silly ideas (like a 7 foot tall Spartan being able to "blend in" with a crowd) That's more or less the extent of my distaste as far as story goes, off the top of my head.

I think the MCC gives them more leeway to do what they want with Halo 5 though. People like me who are mildly displeased with New Halo can stick to the older games.
