PS4- Lion and Fly errors
I was curious to see if this is happening to anyone else out there. I got through the character creation and the the first story mission without any issues, but since beginning the second story mission I've been hit repeatedly with LION and FLY error codes. It usually occurs about 5 to 10 minutes after starting the mission and it kicks me back into orbit. Restarting the beta and my PS4 has had no effect. Anyone else having a similar issue?

I think bungie needs major improvement in this area. Why should "we" have to run out an spend extra time an money to upgrade connection issues. I spent $60 already on the game.

7 RepliesHi all. I too get the fly and lion errors after about 5 mins of playing ps4. Tried wireless and wired connection opened all ports not sure if I did it right. Tried dmz tried disabling router fire wall... still the problem remains. I have a talk talk super router known as hg635. Unfortinately my brand new fibre router and broadband doesnt like bungie server. However I took ps4 to work and tried it on BT fibre router and perfect played for hours no error. Clearly its my talk talk router but for the life of me I cant figure out how to fix it or which settings to change. Talk Talk were a waste of time and directed me to contact Sony. I was hoping someone on here has the same router as me but has it working and the remedy...but its a long shot. Note to all Talk Talks cheap prices is reflected in their customer service! Thanks to all who can offer any advice.

Hey I'm getting this same problem alot. I am trying to play in a fireteam with friends but I just keep dropping out. Last two error codes were FLY and LION. But I play on xbox 360. Am trying to figure out how to get some help

I think overall the server stability has gotten much better. In the last few nights of playing I have had only a handful of network errors. It usually pops up a short time after starting, and then it goes away and doesn't usually present itself again. I can play for several hours without getting a single network error. Kudos to Bungie for working their servers.

So my overall view of Destiny is good. I enjoyed playing the beta and look forward to the full game launch. The only issues I keep having are the errors(bee, lion, elk, etc.) that send you back out into orbit. Even with the network set like they said to. I have not been able to spend longer then 5 min in the tower without getting kicked and I have not been able to finish a single round in the crucible without getting kicked. Hopefully they have these bugs worked out soon or the full game is going to be very short lived. I also think some way to communicate with other players besides pointing, dancing, waving, and sitting would be a good idea as well.

OK, previously I said that last week on Friday night I played without having any issues, and thought maybe things worked themselves out. Well, now not so much. Saturday and Sunday I went right back to having connection errors again...Lion, Fly and sometimes Bee. I had hoped that after the maintenance period on Monday and Tuesday that these issues would have been dealt with. I started playing last night and about 15 minutes in I start getting hit with the same damn errors again. I have tried everything that Bungie has recommended in their network troubleshooting guide, and still I cannot play for more than 10-20 minutes without getting thrown back into orbit. The frequency at which these errors occur has pretty much made the beta unplayable for many people, including myself. Yes, I get that this is a beta and that problems will happen, but I cannot help but to wonder if this is what I have to look forward to when the full game launches in September.

So get in to beta on the 18th and it was awesome played till the 20th no problem. Come back today on the 23rd and can't play more than a few minute

It's because character creation and first mission are offline, I have the same problem and many other people too

Just to follow up on this, it seems these issues are being worked out for the most part. I played for about 4 hours last night and only got disconnected once. All I did was just wait about 24 hours, didn't need to change my router settings or re-install the beta or anything like that.

I'm having the same issue, but now that I made it to the crucible the error is Bee and Baboon.

1 ReplyI've had that happen last night and tonight it is saying to go to bungie.net and search Bee. It is right after you jump up the first set of rocks that it happens to me in the second mission. Any new news on it?
