= Describe the ideal forum structure you would build on your own website. = What do you like about Bungie.net's Forum? Do you see this attribute elsewhere on the web? = What do you dislike about how the Forum here on Bungie.net functions, or what would you change?
For me, I would like to see a smart forum utilizing unique technology and software. Each time a user goes to post a topic, a search would be done on already existing threads. Utilizing key words in the title and body of the topic, a cross reference would be done via this search. According to algorithmic matching, the new post would be grouped with other threads on the same topic. When viewing the thread, readers would have links to other related topics in this group. Of course, posters would visibly be able to see the results of the cross referencing search before submitting to a new thread. Instead, they could post in one of the already existing topics in the results. This would basically give the forum the following basic structure: = [Replies to Comments] after [User Comments] within [Threads] within [Topic Groups] within [Forum Categories] within [The Forum]
