Distinguished Bungie.net members should be given recognition above others who haven't supported Bungie as much, but that would be unfair in some aspects. Since Destiny is Bungie's new game, users on Bnet who join in for the betas and the first month of the first game should be rewarded with some sort of recognition later on. Just like the titles for Bungie.old (i.e. Exalted Mythic Member), the longer you invest in Bungie, the more recognition you deserve. In-game rewards and recognition should also be available. There will be players in Destiny who don't go on the Bungie forums, so those who do should be able to distinguish amongst the user base of the game. Maybe a symbol or badge on the profile that updates with tenure?
