They only lasted [b]seven[/b] of the 10 year contract they had with Microsoft. Microsoft released them from that contract in two thousand and [b]seven[/b]. They are over [b]seven[/b] months last in releasing Destiny. But it is not all 7 ... - They are [i]meant[/i] to stay 10 years with Activision (perhaps like Microsoft it will fail after 7?) - Destiny is being release on the 9/9 - The beta will be less than 7 weeks (a lot less if you are on xbox) So, meh, not so much a bungie thing.
