I honestly hope Destiny is as little Halo-ish as possible, I want Destiny to be its own game. I don't want an unbalance sandbox where one weapon over powers most of the other weapons like the BR did in Halo 2 and 3 and the pistol in CE. I don't want equal starts I want balance starts I want myself and other players to make choices pre-game that allow me to play to my style and other player to theirs without allowing me or them to have an overpowered build. I want all the enemy AIs to be badass and a challenge, I don't want to massacre a bunch of weak canon fodder, I want to face elite warriors, I want to face monsters. I want the Fallen to be clever and cunning not afraid of a fight but smart enough to know when to fall back and regain the advantage. I want the Hive to be fast and agile zombies lurking in the shadows striking when I'm least prepared, swarming all around me just before the go in for the kill. I want the Cabal massive, brutal and destructive able to swat me away with a flick of their wrist or stomp me under their hooves(?) or blow me to pieces with explosive weaponry. I want the Vex to be highly advance killer robots that use weapons and technology that I can not even begin to wonder how they work. In Destiny I want to feel they are the predators and I'm the prey, granted prey with a couple of guns and a some space magic buttery none the less.
