Seriously it's incredibly unprofessional and most of them have no clue what they are talking about.
In the UK the news readers say what is given to them, ask questions that are given to them but never input their opinions or their side of the argument but instead talk to people payed to that such as political corespondent's or outsiders.
Every time I see American news it's always somebody inputting their own opinion as it's fact and being so unprofessional, like Fox News for example.
I feel Sky is the only news corporation in America and BBC America (I think they have news) are the only professional and reputable news stations in the USA and both are British.

Edited by Apprentice Taco: 9/21/2013 11:42:38 AMIn fact most of the media should shut up. like the ones that say "Justin beiber took a piss in a washing bucket Better go on the news" No one gives a flying f**k Media do me a favor. SHUT UP
-
The only anchorman worth listening to is Ron Burgundy
-
It's because this is what US news has become.

Welcome to the American Media Circus. Enjoy your stay.

America = Land of the greedy, arrogant asshole. I'm from Massachusetts, by the way. Phuck this country. Or, I should say, phuck this country in it's current state.
-
Should lonepaul find something else to criticize besides America?
-
You don't have to live here so why waste your time? One of the reasons our country was formed was so the press could say what they want even if it is an opinion.

Whatever it takes to shut Bill O'Reily's fat -blam!-ing mouth, I'm down

Edited by cxkxr: 9/20/2013 7:04:12 PMlol hell yeah. It's just biased garbage spewing and prescripted teleprompter reading. It's a joke.
-
Why do non Americans feel the need to complain about us this much? You know generally when you have to complain and nit pick about everything it's because you are trying to make yourself feel better.
-
Perhaps you should stop watching Fox News then? Or another idea, stop worrying about shit in America and worry about your own crap. Are we really this big of a deal to you that you're complaining about the anchors on Faux News now?
-
no idea what they're talking about
Never stopped you.
-
When is the time when Will McAvoy will have an actual news service?
-
There is something that broadcasters fear more than saying anything that makes them look like utter rambling fools. Dead air.

>Coming from a Brit whose newspapers are equal to our terrible tabloids

Av' you got' any buttered scones and tea, you little wanker?

News is a business. Whoever can yell louder gets more money. Fox News is truly excellent at yelling, so they do very well here.

Piers Morgan.

The fact of the matter (and issue) is that news services need rating like everyone else. When CNN and Fox News need to compete with Discovery and Comedy Central, they need to attract viewers somehow. If outlandish comments boost ratings, they'll do it. If a channel gets higher ratings, the commercial time slots become more valuable, so the network makes more money from cemmercials.
-
but never input their opinions or their side of the argument
Bullshit.
-
Maybe British people should shut the -blam!- up and stop caring about what the American media does.

I agree. Our media politicizes everything to fit their own agenda.
-
Most of US journalism is idiotic and unprofessional. Fox News for example. That doesn't make the UK immune to retards running the news. Look at Rupert Murdoch and his toilet rags.
