After years, I finally have a computer able to play Triple A titles. I'm very happy. So now I'm looking to expand just a little more before I settle down.
I was looking for a keyboard and mouse. I was thinking that it would be cool to hook my laptop to the TV with an HDMI cord, then sit back with my separate keyboard and mouse on the couch and play.
Is that a worthy investment? I don't have a desk or table of any kind so all my gaming is done on my lap or on the armrest of the chair/couch. The TV is around 8 feet away from where I sit.
Any PC gamers have experience with this? And if so, are there any recommendations? I'd set a budget for around $150 I suppose. I'd like a keyboard with a USB port that would let me plug the mouse right into it so I don't have cords running all over the room, but I dunno if that's a 'thing' or not. I'd definitely appreciate some information from the more knowledgeable among you. Cheers!

if you want a bigger screen then i say you should hook it up to your TV. as for keyboard and mouse, you can really get anything. but if you do want a good mouse i would suggest any Razer mouse, they are all pretty good. as for a key board i use a deck legend- http://www.amazon.com/Deck-Legend-Frost-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B00AQIJX5O/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1376347530&sr=8-2&keywords=deck+legend+keyboard they are pretty pricey but they are indestructible and come with a life-time warrenty (if you some how can break it) if not i would get a normal keyboard, there really isn't much of a difference unless you really care and want something fancy. the razer website- http://www.razerzone.com/store?src=pgm.78469700&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=razercom&utm_campaign=adwordsusbrandrazer
