Forum war started 3 years ago to see who was "better". At the time, it was Eros vs. TOTW vs. Sapphire/HRG. The leaders of each group were just doing it for pretty much shits and giggles, then stopped it by 2011. Then that's when everyone caught on. Since TOTW got pretty much decimated a couple of months before the new site popped up and Eros isn't as active anymore, many of the forum members are looking to Sapphire to spread the "hate", even if it's blind. To shorten it up: The three main groups during the forum war were spreading "hate", not by the administration, but by some of the members just for fun. Then the main forums took it seriously and all 3 got hated on. Now that 2 of the 3 are pretty much dead, Sapphire is the only one left that's getting hate because of a silly event that wasn't even supposed to be taken seriously 3 years ago. I'm guessing it's more of a Bnet meme because I've been in all 3 groups around the beginning of each group and during the Group War, and I only know maybe one or 2 of the people that were former members of Sapphire. The rest aren't even in Sapphire, or even posted in Sapphire once, so it's just kids jumping onto the bandwagon.
