It's hard to do correctly. People forget that. Thy think its just making an ad, or finding a character (Flo from Progressive). It's knowing your target market well, knowing your product, and knowing your competitors. Finally you craft a message and deliver it. It all boils down to the 4 P's. People, Product, Place and Price. Apple does this best. Minimal ads, yet sales out the roof. They have it down pat. Not a cent wasted.
