Recruitment is the lifeblood of any healthy Internet community. For years, Bungie.net has been sustained by a flood of new members. They come in search of news or statistics - and they stay for the conversation. To preserve that social phenomenon, the Mentors are a volunteer force for good. The Welcoming Committee began as friends to the newbie - a helpful voice for the lost or confused. Since their inception, their mission has evolved tosupport anyone navigating the changing landscape of Bungie.net as it adapts to serve the Destiny player-base. The charge of the Mentor is one of service, rather than moderation. They keep a sharp eye trained on the #Help forum, and patrol the community in search of fresh faces that need a friendly lesson in the etiquette or protocol that shapes our happy home. Would you like to see your name on this roster? There may well be a chance for that, later. We replenish the ranks of the Mentors by inducting the people who share their mission. Anyone is welcome to help people in our community to find the information they need. You don't need a badge to make a difference.
