There's going to be that person, or group of people, that will definitely make some ridiculous tags trending on this site. It can be in both good and bad taste, but I can seriously just picture the trending tags a month from now.
#bungie, #socks, #Wumbo, #1337, #TeamFollowBack, #Hi, #potatoes

Imagine it like a thread. If a tag follows the rules, then it can by all means trend away. There is no consequence to the rest of us if it trends, so long as the tags along with it do, in fact, follow the topic(s).

#burritosenior was near the top for a little while. I haz picture. :P As for potatoes... well, if you saw that, it might be partially my fault as well. >.>

I don't mind ridiculous hash tags, they are pretty great. What bothers me are seeing thing like #community and #offtopic together
-
The biggest issue here is that you can get discussions meant for one "hashtag" (whatever the hell it is) tricking over to other areas. For example, I go into #Gaming and see a bunch of non-related topics to gaming, just because the OP's decided to tag #Feedback, #Bungie, #Community, and whatever the hell else they wanted just to get attention. It is a broken/abused system right now.
